Maybe it works better for Skyrim (I'm not even going to try, though), but with FO:NV it's too much of a hassle. In the end, that whole exercise gained me nothing (on the contrary, I lost some mods) and just wasted a whole lot of time. All of these mods need to be able to see each other to properly install and integrate, but the entire point of MO is that mods are isolated from each other.Īfter a lot of messing around and reading around, what I found was that you have to run a forked FOMM from inside MO and then install any UI altering mods with FOMM. was painful.Īside from a few mod combinations that used to work fine before, but now cause instant CTDs on startup, the most annoying issue by far was dealing with UI mods and by extension Project Nevada. Got the bright idea of converting my existing mod collection from NMM to Mod Organizer, since that seems to be the cool new thing in town. I've actually started a new playthrough a while ago. I figured most of the locations in the game were fictional (and I never bothered to look at a real map of the area), so that was a neat thing to learn. and trigger someone elses next replay.Įver wondered how close sites in the game were to reality ?
